Overview The transformation you will experience We are seeking a highly skilled Data Solutions Architect capable of designing and implementing systems and processes that allow Publicis agencies to utilize large datasets effectively. This role is crucial in building the foundation for data- and AI-driven content, media, and marketing initiatives. The position entails both strategic and technical responsibilities, focusing on designing and implementing the necessary data infrastructure and architecture to support Publicis Groupe products. The successful candidate will ensure data is efficiently collected, stored, processed, and analysed to meet specific business requirements throughout various Publicis Groupe product lifecycle, collaborating closely with regional and local product teams to translate business needs into technical data solutions. Your scope will include: Data Architecture Design: Creating the overall data blueprint, including data models, storage strategies (relational databases, data lakes, data warehouses), data pipelines, and data flow to support product features and analytics. Requirements Gathering: Collaborating with Publicis Groupe regional and local product managers and stakeholders to understand data needs, identify key metrics, and translate business requirements into technical data specifications. MetaData Management and Framework Design for Adobe DAM: Work with PXP team to assess, formulate, and implement data management frameworks and solutions the fuel content production tools based on client requirements. Design database schemas to optimise data processing and storage for analytical purposes. Pipeline Development and Optimisation: Play a hands-on role in building, managing and scheduling data pipelines, ensuring efficient data ingestion, processing, and validation for assigned Publicis Groupe products. Work with agencies technology and digital teams to continuously improve data quality and integrity and optimise data retrieval processes. Privacy and Compliance: Design and enforce privacy and regulatory requirements for PII data, managing access and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Performance Monitoring: Manage, monitor, and measure performance metrics such as data movement, pipeline efficiency, and query optimisation using effective logging, monitoring services, and reporting tools. Data Modelling and Onboarding: Work with Creative Technologist and Data Scientist in developing and deploying data models that feed brand experiences and utility whilst ensuring validation and cleanup of new datasets, leveraging platforms like Microsoft Azure for efficient data processing and retention. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Data Solutions Product Manager, Data Scientist, and Digital Innovation Strategist to ensure a connected and automated audience activation across platforms. Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate with agency teams regarding scheduled deliverables and ad-hoc requests, managing operations for scheduled data ingestion and processing. Ability to translate complex analytics into actionable business insights, with strong interpersonal skills to engage senior stakeholders effectively. Complex Problem Solving: Access, integrate, and model diverse data sources to solve intricate marketing and business challenges. Reframe client questions into data science deliverables and develop data science roadmaps. What type of person will be successful in this role: Deep experience in data engineering, including at least 5+ years in SQL, data design, and data architecture. Hands-on experience with managing large datasets, ETL processes, and the Hadoop ecosystem. Familiarity with Adobe products, Microsoft Azure, SQL Workbench, and big data technologies. Experience with AWS, Google Big Query, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Python, SFMC, and JavaScript is a plus. Experience with PII and marketing-related data is advantageous. Strong communication skills, capable of working with internal and external stakeholders at various levels. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
