Job Description

Within the context of the role responsibilities described under 'About the role', the ideal applicant will be someone who can competitively demonstrate their knowledge, skills and experiences and their suitability against the Leadership competencies for Queensland (Executive). Professional qualifications in Program, Project and/or Change Management will be highly regarded. Essential Requirements: Highly developed leadership skills in managing effective project teams, driving performance to achieve effective project delivery and strategic outcomes. Demonstrated in-depth negotiation experience for high level or complex contracts or procurement requirements that ensure project delivery and compliance with QCS or Government frameworks. Demonstrated ability to manage risks, anticipate priorities and strategically plan to effectively meet project portfolio requirements. Practical experience in delivery projects within a busy environment that is managing a planned change agenda would be highly regarded. High level interpersonal skills to build and maintain strategic working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to negotiate with influence and drive strong project outcomes.
