About the role: The Director Office of the Chief Executive (OCE) provides high-level strategic advice and support to the Chief Executive, contributing to the strategic direction and appropriate governance of PathWest Laboratory Medicine WA to ensure the effective functioning of this state-wide pathology service. As a senior management role, the Director directs and coordinates activities and strategic projects initiated by the Chief Executive to effectively manage risks and issues, engaging with a range of senior stakeholders including the Department of Health and the Office of the Minister for Health. The position is responsible for the management of Communications, Ministerial Coordination, Board Management, Audit and Risk, Policy, Records Management, and Legislative Compliance, and has overall responsibility for the leadership and management of the operations, budget, and physical resources of the Office of the Chief Executive including Executive Committee support.
