Position Profile: This role provides a leadership and coordination function to WACHS for integrated solutions to deliver 24/7 monitoring and oversight of WACHS-wide operations supporting state-wide WACHS and partnership health facilities to deliver person-centred, equitable, and seamless access to health care. The Director Operations is responsible for: The overall coordination of the WACHS 24/7 patient flow and throughput and ensuring health services, partner agencies, and senior executives are appropriately briefed on key issues. Providing strategic leadership and management to operations staff to actively manage situational awareness and operational responses, logistics and supply, and Emergency Management. Implementing systems and processes to ensure situational awareness, including emergency health responses, capability, and disaster management. This position will work closely with the operations hub, virtual clinical services, Acute Patient Transfer Coordination Service, and Work Health Safety and Security teams on the development of integrated systems, communications, and operational support structure, functions, and processes.
