Position Objective The Director, Origination – Income Credit is responsible for growing Qualitas’ presence in the income credit market, focusing on Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth. The primary focus will be on originating non-construction first mortgage loans. The role requires strategic market engagement, relationship management, and collaboration with internal teams to drive results. Key Responsibilities Originate income credit real estate debt investments, including land loans, investment loans, and residual stock loans. Drive results through third-party channels while also sourcing direct opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with brokers, aggregator groups, referral partners, and industry associations. Represent Qualitas at industry events and forums, enhancing the firm’s market positioning. Work closely with other Originators within Qualitas to deploy Income Credit through broker and advisor channels. Conduct thorough due diligence and analysis on potential clients and intermediaries to identify financing opportunities. Manage lending exposures actively, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements. Engage with clients and prospects through site visits and relationship management. Pursue cross-selling opportunities across Qualitas’ broader offerings. Qualifications and Experience Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business, law, or real estate. Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in origination or business development roles with expertise in real estate credit and structured finance. Proven ability to guide investment strategies and adapt to changing market conditions. Demonstrated experience in analysing portfolios within real estate and private credit sectors. Exceptional commercial acumen, quantitative analysis, and relationship management.
