About the Role The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Director, Products, Platforms and Development to provide a critical role within Technology Solutions and Data Security. The Director, Products, Platforms and Development provides strategic direction, leadership and management of the Products, Platforms and Development groups. The Director is responsible for all aspects of products and platforms, including project management and governance. The role requires the ability to build and foster relationships with key stakeholders and delivery partners, align with overall strategic direction of Technology Solutions and Data Security and the Department of Justice and Community Safety whilst championing a culture that empowers team members to be creative, innovative, and agile to achieve positive organisational value and benefit. Some of your duties will include: Lead, plan, direct and manage teams responsible for support and development of business applications and enterprise services and platform development teams. Ensure effective project management and governance across all aspects of product and platforms. Provide authoritative advice and leadership in strategy development and operations, and function as a key strategic advisor to the CTO, the executive, and cross functional teams. Develop and implement technology roadmaps aligned with overall strategic and technical direction of Technology Solutions and Data Security and the Department of Justice and Community Safety. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience in a technical or scientific field is favourable. Experience in the government sector in a technology or systems-centric management role is favourable.
