Queensland Corrective Services (Organisation site)Strategic Transformation; Transformation Office; Organisational Capability; Brisbane Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) is a government agency responsible for the management and oversight of custodial facilities throughout Queensland and supporting the rehabilitation of offenders in custody and in the community. QCS operates eleven (11) high security and six (6) low security correctional centres, as well as 35 probation and parole district offices and over 140 reporting locations across the State.QCS contributes to community safety and crime prevention through the humane containment, supervision, and rehabilitation of offenders. Our mission is driven by integrity, accountability, and innovation. The Transformation Office leads QCS's reform agenda, shaping the agency into a top-tier public safety organization. As Director, Strategic Transformation, you will lead the Strategic Transformation Group to drive QCS's ambitious reform agenda. Reporting to the Assistant Commissioner, you will deliver impactful, organisation-wide transformation projects while fostering innovation, collaboration, and results-driven leadership and have the following responsibilities: Lead the design, implementation, and governance of strategic transformation projects. Build and develop QCS's Business Architecture capability to enable reform delivery. Collaborate across QCS to align transformation initiatives with the organization's priorities. Manage resources, vendor relationships, and investments to achieve strategic objectives. Provide expert, evidence-based advice to senior executives and stakeholders. Represent QCS in key forums to advance partnerships and organizational objectives. Promote a high-performance, collaborative workplace culture. About You: You will have a proven track record in delivering large-scale organisational reforms. You excel in building relationships, managing complex projects, and influencing outcomes in dynamic environments and will be able to demonstrate the following: Extensive experience leading strategic and operational transformation in large, complex organisations. Proven ability to deliver innovative solutions and manage risks to achieve results. High-level expertise in project and change management methodologies. Strong knowledge of public sector governance, legislative frameworks, and policy development. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to influence and build partnerships.
