Position Summary The Director of Community Relations is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping and overseeing all aspects of community engagement at Ruyton. Leading a highly integrated team across Admissions, Marketing, Alumnae Relations, and Events, the Director ensures a cohesive and impactful approach to enhancing the School’s brand, reputation, and engagement. As a key driver of community connections, this role is central to the School’s success, enhancing relationships with current and prospective parents, alumnae, staff, donors, and the broader Ruyton community. The Director leads initiatives that promote engagement, admissions growth, and stakeholder relationships, ensuring that Community Relations remains at the heart of the School’s business functions. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Senior leadership experience, working collaboratively as a part of a school executive team to achieve shared goals. A proven strategic mindset, with the ability to develop and implement short and long term plans that drive organisational success. Sound decision-making abilities, focused on measurable outcomes and impactful results. Proven ability to lead and inspire, cultivating a high-achieving and engaged team culture. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, coupled with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Offered as a fixed term 5-year executive appointment, applicants must have relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or business, and the right to work in Australia.
