Working closely with the Director of Engineering, you will have end-to-end responsibility for your Banking and Financial Services Cloud Technology Platform. You will be accountable for the division's cloud strategy, roadmaps, and north stars. You will work with the Director of Engineering and Lead Engineers in the team to ensure the overall cloud product is fit for purpose and meets the organisation's goals. You will foster and nurture an innovative culture that encourages innovative thinking, understanding of risk while taking a collaborative approach to problem solving. What you offer Extensive experience leading product vision, strategy, and roadmap of a "Cloud Centre of Excellence" in a regulated environment. Strong experience in cloud-based technologies, including hyperscale technology such as Google Cloud and AWS, and purpose-built PaaS platforms like Datastax Astra, Elastic Cloud, and Temporal. Strong understanding of software engineering and open-source technologies, with experience in designing and architecting large-scale applications and platforms. Proven ability to develop and execute platform strategies, manage complex engineering initiatives, and optimise resources. Collaborative and communicative leadership skills, with a passion for building and managing scalable, maintainable, and high-performing platforms using agile methodologies.
