Our Operations team is looking for an experiencedFuel Tanker Driver with an MC licence to join the team in Cairns for ongoing casual work. The role will involve fuel deliveries to service station sites as well as wholesale customer locations. We Offer: A competitive hourly rate Above award Super contributions. Paid medicals, Basic Fatigue Management (BFM), safe load pass (SLP) renewals and dangerous goods licence renewals Uniforms provided A supportive team environment As aTanker Driver you will be responsible for: Ensuring all deliveries of fuel are made in a safe, efficient, and professional manner Providing quality customer service Ensuring vehicle loading and unloading operations are carried out under Terminal and SLP standards and are compliant with regulations set out in the Australian Standards for fuel handling and storage and apply all safety, security, and environmental standards Having a sound knowledge of BFM and Mass Management Processing all delivery transactions accurately Washing the trucks and tankers frequently and ensuring the interior is maintained daily The Successful Applicant will have: Current licences and permits (MC driver licence, Dangerous Goods licence) Current SLP Minimum 3 years articulated driving experience Current terminal inductions to the Cairns fuel terminals would be desirable Understanding of dangers associated with petroleum products Understanding of Dangerous Goods codes and practices Ability to work from various locations Ability to follow instructions accurately and expeditiously Accuracy in processing documentation and submission to head office Effective oral and written communication including mathematical skills Self-motivated and displays energy and enthusiasm Ability to work collaboratively with team members, internal and external customers to accomplish organizational goals.
