Hands-on leadership role in logistics & customer service Ideal for those with a building industry background Competitive salary + career growth opportunities About the Role A leading manufacturer and recycler of expanded polystyrene (EPS) products, is seeking a Distribution & Customer Service Manager to take charge of their fleet logistics and customer service operations. This pivotal role ensures seamless product delivery, outstanding customer service, and operational efficiency. This role is not purely office-based —you’ll be expected to lead from the front , stepping in where needed to support the team. Whether it’s assisting with truck allocations, engaging with clients, or ensuring our drivers are set up for success, or operating a forklift, you’ll play a critical role in keeping things moving. Manage scheduling, fleet allocation, and truck maintenance. Build strong relationships with builders, concreters, and other site professionals to ensure smooth delivery processes. Support the customer service team , handling inquiries, orders, and issue resolution. Ensure compliance with heavy vehicle regulations and safety protocols . Provide quotes and pricing information for customers. Assist with truck loading/unloading and be ready to jump in when needed . What We’re Looking For Experience in logistics, distribution, or fleet management Building industry experience preferred. Strong leadership skills to manage teams. Strong communication skills to engage with customers. A hands-on approach—this isn’t just a desk job! Forklift license and truck license are highly regarded .
