They're inquisitive, pioneering industry firsts and pushing new ideas to deliver exceptional outcomes.This passion and expertise creates an employee experience that puts wellbeing, flexibility and opportunity first.Come join us.The role The Divisional Finance Manager, Retail is an integral business partner of the Retail Finance Team providing financial analysis and strategic insight to assist in maximising the current and future returns for the owners, internal and external stakeholders, for a portfolio of retail assets.This will include a broad range of financial activities including the strategic review of financial and operational information, provision of analysis, commentary and recommendations across leasing, other revenue, expense management/procurement, capital expenditure and other business partnering activities.What you will be doing Partnering closely with key business stakeholders to provide commercial financial advice. Mentoring, coaching and leading a Property Accountant to deliver operational objectives of the team. Managing financial and management reporting including providing insights and information on trends to enable the proactive management of future outcomes, with precision, care and confidence. Providing support and advice regarding the assets acquisitions and divestments. Driving the budget and forecasting process and actively participating in the business planning process. Providing insights to drive optimal recovery and new leasing positions for the assets. Liaising with the Development Finance Team to ensure financial information is managed effectively across the Asset Management and Development Teams. Monitoring capital expenditure to ensure accuracy of the fixed asset register and communicating with the National Capex and Operational Teams to monitor performance to budget/forecast expectations. What makes you stand out We are seeking an experienced finance professional who is currently CA or CPA qualified. Prior management accounting experience is also required coupled with a background in the property sector, ideally with retail assets.A strong relationship builder, with excellent communication and analytical skills, you will relish partnering with commercial teams to provide advice and ensure key stakeholders have the information they need to support effective strategic decision making.
