Job Description: The Document Controller will play a crucial role in managing, organizing, and controlling all project-related documentation to ensure it is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure the efficient flow of information across all phases of the project. Key Responsibilities: Organize, track, and maintain project documents, including plans, drawings, specifications, contracts, and reports. Ensure that all project documents are correctly filed and easily accessible in both electronic and hard-copy formats. Collaborate with project teams to manage document submissions, approvals, and revisions in accordance with project requirements. Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulations regarding document control. Maintain document control logs and registers to track the status of project documentation. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely distribution of project documentation and updates. Assist with audits and quality assurance reviews as required. Provide administrative support to the project team and facilitate document-related queries. Requirements: Previous experience as a Document Controller in the construction or infrastructure sector, preferably with rail or transportation projects. Strong understanding of document management systems (e.g., Aconex, Viewpoint, Procore, etc.). High attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Knowledge of project documentation standards and procedures in the construction industry is advantageous. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certification in document control or project management. Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes is a plus.
