Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Drama Teacher to join our vibrant community for a fixed-term position, covering long service leave from 12 May 2025 to 20 June 2025. This role will involve teaching students Drama across the Secondary school from Year 8 – 11, providing them with a rich and engaging curriculum, and contributing to our culture of excellence and personal development. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging Drama lessons to students. Collaborate with colleagues in the Drama department to align the curriculum and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality education. Encourage students to explore their creativity and critical thinking skills through innovative teaching methods. Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment where all students can thrive. Participate in co-curricular activities, including drama productions, clubs and related events. Contribute to the broader school community, participating in staff meetings, professional development, and parent-teacher interviews. Key Selection Criteria: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Drama. Proven teaching experience in both Drama at the secondary level. A passion for inspiring students through engaging and innovative lessons. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a supportive and respectful learning environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with other educators and contribute to a positive team culture.
