Duration: 12 months with a possibility to extend Key Responsibilities Meet Client’s HSEC requirements. Proper utilisation of the Company’s overall buying power in obtaining, at best value to the correct specification, material, equipment, and services on a confidential competitive basis in support of Drilling Operations in Australia. Procurement activities in line with established procedures, compiling a bidders’ list, seeking vendor quotations, evaluating response, issuing of purchase orders, expediting, and maintaining delivery schedules, achieved by utilising a computerised purchasing and materials management system in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Ensure that all risks associated with the procurement function are identified and that safe management processes are established and maintained. Satisfy internal customer, team member, and vendor requirements. Monitor and process the usage of consignment and contract materials associated with drilling and completions programs. Maximise cost reduction and improve efficiencies in the procurement processes. Have a detailed knowledge and understanding of the applications in relation to purchasing. Requirements Must have previous experience in Oil & Gas Drilling. Full-Time Australian Working Rights Required!
