Job Description
Driver & Maintenance Team Member – Join Our Team at The Converse Home! Are you a caring and adaptable individual who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment? The Converse Home, a non-profit assisted living community in downtown Burlington, is looking for a Driver & Maintenance Team Member to provide safe transportation for our residents and assist with light maintenance tasks. What You’ll Do: Safely transport residents to and from appointments and outings. Assist residents in and out of vehicles, operating ramps and lifts as needed. Escort residents to appointments when necessary. Perform light maintenance duties around the community including lawn care, landscaping, shoveling, and minor home repairs as assigned by supervisor. Be available for on-call maintenance support one week per month (rotating schedule). What We’re Looking For: A compassionate and patient individual who enjoys working with seniors. A team player with a flexible attitude—every day is different! A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to assist residents with mobility needs safely. Some general maintenance experience preferred. What We Offer: Full-time, 40-hour position (Monday-Friday with rotating paid on-call).
