In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building, developing, and enhancing our online presence and e-commerce landscape from the ground up, with the mission of providing our customers with an easy and streamlined shopping experience. Responsibilities: E-commerce Strategy : Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies tailored to the Australian market, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and optimisation of the online shopping experience. Website Oversight : Build, manage and optimise the e-commerce website, ensuring functionality, aesthetic appeal, and seamless navigation, aligned with local market preferences and needs. Product Management : Oversee product listings, ensuring high-quality content, competitive pricing, and accurate inventory management that reflects the consumer market. Digital Marketing Initiatives : Lead and execute targeted digital marketing campaigns across various channels (SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media) to drive site traffic and increase sales. Customer Insights : Analyse customer data and feedback to enhance the user experience continuously, addressing any issues to promote customer satisfaction and loyalty. Performance Analytics : Utilise analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to monitor metrics, assess campaign performance, and generate reports to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments. Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and logistics, to ensure cohesive execution of e-commerce initiatives and optimal operational flow. Market Trends : Stay informed about e-commerce trends, competitive landscape, and digital marketing best practices within Australia to leverage new opportunities for growth. Budget Management : Develop, monitor, and manage the e-commerce marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across campaigns and initiatives to achieve maximum ROI. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Previous experience in e-commerce management, digital marketing, or a similar role is required. Proficiency with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and digital advertising tools (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads). Strong analytical skills with experience using data analysis tools to drive decision-making. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge in Prospect (CRM) / Unleashed (ERP) Software is an advantage. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with e-commerce and content management systems. An understanding of HTML and web design principles.
