Salary: $115,899 - $130,733 + up to 15.4% Superannuation Location: Adelaide - SA, Canberra - ACT, Sydney CBD - NSW The Role The Maritime Integrated Warfare Systems (MIWS) Branch is a very busy organisation with a diverse range of projects and products. Life here is never dull, and no two days are the same. MIWS has several positions in various areas across the branch. We are seeking to fill these roles with professional, motivated, and experienced EL 1 Logistics Managers to support our Project teams to meet Defence and MIWS Engineering and Logistics standards. ILS - Supply Support Manager Your role will support the whole branch through development of supply support requirements, governance processes, and assurance. You will develop and implement plans and processes for supply support across acquisition and sustainment to govern, support, and assure product management through life. You will lead and develop your team to support projects and products with specific supply management services, including inventory and warehousing, along with the management, data entry and assurance of MIWS logistics information management systems. There is a strong need for the current position to be based in either ADE or ACT. Project ILS Manager This role will support the Project Management team through a broad range of ILS activities, including the design, development and sustainment of Support Systems for leading edge maritime projects and products. The successful candidate(s) will undertake analysis, develop and review ILS documentation, and coordinate engagement with industry partners and Defence stakeholders. There is a strong need for the current position(s) to be based in either ACT or SYD. Product ILS Manager (AEGIS) This position requires expertise in logistics, material management, and risk management, with a particular focus on maintaining operational readiness for the Aegis system and associated configurations. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating logistics support activities directly related to the Aegis equipment and configuration for SEA4000-6 commonly referred to as A2D. You will play a critical role in ensuring that all logistics, supply, and maintenance activities are conducted in line with product requirements, throughout the modernisation program, into sustainment. You will work closely with key stakeholders including PEO IWS4.0 ILS Lead, NAVSUP, NSSG project and product representatives, and other key Defence and industry partners to achieve mission objectives. There is a strong need for the current position (supporting AEGIS) to be based in either ADE or ACT.
