EL1 Assistant Director Oversight and Assurance, Various Locations About the role The ACIC currently has a number of Assistant Director Oversight and Assurance vacancies. This merit process may be drawn upon to fill both ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies over the next 18 months.The Assistant Director Oversight and Assurance supports the Director in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures governing the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission’s (ACIC) operational activity. This includes involvement in the development and maintenance of the ACIC’s ongoing compliance and oversight framework and effective engagement with oversight bodies.With highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, the Assistant Director Oversight and Assurance will work with a variety of internal and external partners to ensure the ACIC’s continuing regulatory compliance and contribute to the development, implementation and review of practices, procedures and policies to enhance a compliance culture within the ACIC, aligned with relevant legislation.
