Job Description
EL1 Business AnalystContract Duration: 4 months (renewable 12 months)Location: Canberra, Brisbane, MelbourneSecurity clearance: Ability to obtain Baseline clearance The Client is seeking to engage Business Analysts to provide the required services. These roles require well-rounded business analysts who will support Digital Health Branch initiatives. They will be required to prioritise activities and deliverables through managing their own workload with a proactive and self-motivated approach. Key Duties/Tasks: Undertake business analysis activities, including requirements gathering from a broad range of stakeholders, specification writing, and leading JADs. Produce business analyst artefacts and documents that may include risk analysis, scope modelling, problem tracking, process mapping, and sequence diagrams. Participate and perform elicitation requirement techniques such as brainstorming, workshops, prototyping, observation, or interviews, and confirm or report on results. Prepare and contribute to clear business and stakeholder requirement documentation including prioritising, organising, and verifying the requirements. Identify potential business needs to recommend improvements for consideration and provide analysis, verification, and validation on the recommended improvements. Lead discovery activity, co-design sessions, and stakeholder engagement with SMEs. Review and collate background information from a variety of sources to identify key themes and issues. Produce a comprehensive options and recommendations paper that summarises results of discovery activity and analysis with a focus on data-driven recommendations, business impact, and strategic goals.
