EL1 Manager, Cyber Security and Architecture 6 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants About the Company Davidson Technology are working with a leading Federal Government Agency to secure an EL1 Manager, Cyber Security Strategy and Architecture who is required to undertake work that is very complex, sensitive and under broad management direction. Exercising a considerable degree of independence, this position is responsible for managing the Cyber Security Strategy & Architecture team to develop and maintain Cyber Security Branch strategy and architecture. About the Role As the Manager, Cyber Security Strategy and Architecture, you will lead the development and implementation of cyber security strategies across the Agency, ensuring compliance with federal security frameworks such as the ISM, PSPF, and Essential Eight Maturity Model. You'll provide expert advice on security policies, risk management, and assurance activities while managing a team of specialists to deliver high-quality security architecture outcomes. Responsibilities include overseeing cyber security assurance for critical IT systems, directing strategic initiatives, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies and managed service providers. Operating with a high degree of independence, you will make impactful decisions regarding security risk exposure, develop work plans, and drive continuous improvement in cyber security strategies to enhance the protection of national IT systems. About You We are seeking a Manager, Cyber Security Strategy Architect with a strong understanding of Australian Government security standards, including the Information Security Manual (ISM) and Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF). Ideal candidates will hold tertiary qualifications in ICT security or management or demonstrate equivalent expertise including formal Cyber Security and Enterprise Architecture Qualifications. This role requires Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance (with potential for higher clearance if required) and a national police check.
