We are partnered with a Federal Government Organisation in Brisbane to recruit an Organisational Change Manager. Federal Government Organisation Brisbane Based 12-Month Fixed Term Contract Your new role In this fixed term contract, your responsibilities will include: Managing the implementation and delivery of change programs and projects within the organisation, applying sound project management principles and best practice methodologies. Developing change management and communication plans using a structured strategy to address change impacts, minimise risk, and ensure a smooth transition to the future state. Providing expert advice on the end-to-end change strategy, communication, impact, change readiness, training needs and development plans to support informed decision-making and improve future outcomes. Training, coaching, and mentoring teams, playing a prominent role in advancing the maturity of change management awareness across the organisation. Effectively partnering with other divisions and branches, ensuring solutions are defined by requirements that meet their needs and best practice techniques are used to improve services. Developing programs across a broad range of change initiatives to focus on areas which can meet the continually changing needs of the organisation. What you'll need to succeed To excel in this role, you should have: Qualifications in change management and/or relevant industry experience. Knowledge and experience working on complex and/or large scaled projects, including organisational change. The ability to effectively present clear, timely information that addresses task requirements, tailors communication to the audience and circumstances, and provides accurate specialist advice by translating complex technical information appropriately. The ability to engage others in change processes and provide clear guidance. The ability to effectively implement change by translating initiatives into practical strategies, evaluating progress and making necessary adjustments, while demonstrating initiative, flexibility, and resourcefulness in dealing with uncertainty. The ability to deliver client-focused results. Strong ability to persuade and influence. Understanding of organisational objectives, negotiates credibly, commits to positive outcomes and issue resolution, liaises, negotiates, and resolves conflicts with stakeholders of diverse backgrounds, appreciating and respecting cultural differences. Strong ability to effectively manage projects.
