Key Duties of the Position The Library is seeking to fill a Senior Adviser, Collection Research (Executive Level 1) role in the Curatorial and Collection Research Section of the Collection Branch on an ongoing basis. We are looking for an experienced curatorial research professional who is passionate about the richness of Australian history, society, and culture, who is a confident and enthusiastic communicator and collaborator, to contribute significantly to galvanising proactive Library collecting and promotion. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for leading an energetic program of research excellence across collection development and management, research and collecting relationships and networks, and collection engagement. Preferably you will hold qualifications or extensive experience in Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, or a related field, as well as in developing and building collections in the Australian Cultural heritage collecting sector.
