Multiple positions are available in our Remote Service Delivery teams in NT, NSW, SA, WA and QLD. This Candidate Pack focuses on the EL1 Assistant Director role. These opportunities are for Identified and Affirmative Measure – Disability and First Nations.The NDIA’s Remote Service Delivery teams have a vision to improve the lives of people with disability living in rural and remote communities across Australia. Our mandate is to provide a service that gives people living in rural and remote areas access to all elements of the NDIS: information and education, community connection, access to the NDIS, quality NDIS plans, access to services and ongoing support.About you NDIA’s Remote Service Delivery teams are suited for people who are passionate about working in their local rural and remote communities to support people in their communities with their NDIS journey.What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate: Empathy and understanding: The ability to understand and empathise with the challenges faced by people living in rural and remote Australia, in particular people with disability and First Nations people. Strategic and innovative thinking: Experience in developing innovative solutions to complex challenges. Leadership: Demonstrates strong leadership skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams to achieve project goals. Relationship building: Proven capability in building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and can communicate with influence. Project or Program Management: Demonstrates strong project management skills with experience in planning, executing and monitoring projects or programs, delivering outcomes on time and within budget. Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise reports, briefs, and policy advice around complex issues.
