Save EL2 Director Finance Business Partner A federal government agency is looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner for a 6-month contract.Your new company A large government department is seeking an EL2 Director Finance Business Partner/Senior Finance Business Partner for an initial 6-month contract.Your new role Collaborating with internal and external teams to provide technical and general accounting and finance advice. Influencing and developing financial strategies, policies, and operational practices. Preparing various written materials, including briefs, reports, and discussion papers, and contributing to the Agency Financial Strategic Plan. Managing complex or sensitive finance functions, projects, and work programs, and addressing emerging problems and risks. Providing strategic and operational financial, technical, and policy expertise across core functions. Representing the FBP portfolio on complex or sensitive issues with diverse stakeholders. Offering high-level financial advice to management, the Executive Leadership Team, and the Board. What you'll need to succeed You will need to be a CA/CPA qualified Accountant with a strong background in Business Partnering. This role is open only to Australian citizens who are available immediately or at short notice to take on this contract. You must be a strong Finance Business Partner, with excellent communication skills to partner with both internal and external teams. Ideally, you will have exposure to working for a government agency previously.What you'll get in return You will receive a contract starting ASAP (pending checks) for 6 months with a large and complex government agency.
