We are looking for an experienced EO Laboratory Manager to join our Engineering Services division, based in Adelaide . As an EO Laboratory Manager , your duties will include, but not be limited to: Manage the instrumentation, consumables, maintenance and calibration required in the facility, ensuring it is available to support the work program Establish and maintain facility documentation, risk assessments and safe operating procedures Assist in the scheduling, reporting and distribution of testing reports Co-ordinating and planning maintenance activities Liaising with embedded team members and supporting project outcomes Communicating with the client to understand requirements Procurement of new equipment and coordinating the set-up Hazard assessments and establishment of SOPs Management of workflow to ensure efficiency and effectiveness Support to lab testing activities To be successful in the role of EO Laboratory Manager , you will need to bring with you: Previous Laboratory experience in a similar position (experience with Explosive Ordnance Laboratories advantageous) Defence or Government experience Defence or Government procurement knowledge and experience Solid experience in the coordination of technical activities (i.e. procurement, trades etc) Experience working in a technical workshop environment Ability to safely run lab operations day to day Experience liaising and building relationships with external stakeholders An understanding of quality assurance protocols A high level of motivation and innovation Applicants MUST hold a minimum Baseline Australian Government Security Clearance which will be upgraded to an NV1.
