Role Description We are seeking multiple talented Engineers to join our growing team. Specifically, we are looking for candidates with significant experience in Defence with a Software, ICT, Systems or Maritime background to become part of the Proviant team. There are multiple Engineering roles within Canberra. These are hands-on roles where you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all project engineering tasks within the project execution strategy. These opportunities vary across different defence projects including sustainment of Air, Land, Maritime, and space systems. You will provide support to ensure the Commonwealth is receiving the required services under the relevant Australian and International standards, regulations, and Commonwealth requirements in support of project outcomes. Minimum Criteria: Relevant discipline qualifications or relevant industry experience in engineering, preferably in a Defence or Government context. Demonstrated interest and strategic understanding of the Defence industrial environment, capability lifecycle, and the capability development and growth objectives of various stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. A positive, collaborative attitude with common sense, and a client-focused approach to your work. Baseline level AGSVA Security Clearance. Preferred Criteria: Engineering qualifications. Prior experience working with Defence (CASG, NSSG or DDG) in a Defence Capability Lifecycle role. Direct and relevant experience gained on major acquisition or sustainment projects of Air, Land, Maritime, and Space systems. NV1 Level or higher AGSVA. Mandatory Qualifications These engineering positions require a Bachelor of Engineering from an Australian institution, or a qualification gained elsewhere, that satisfies the requirements of the Washington Accord for recognition as a Professional Engineer.
