About the role As an ERAS clinic nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating and completing ERAS Clinic appointments, assisting patients with surgery preparation, and managing pre-operative and post-operative consultations. The role reports directly to the Nurse Unit Manager of 5 North and will see you act as an ERAS champion, ensuring smooth clinic operations and optimal patient outcomes. A regular day will see you: Coordinate and facilitate the efficient operation of the ERAS Clinic. Conduct patient consultations, including assessments, screening, and clinical education. Plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care according to best practice. Communicate with patients regarding their surgical procedures and provide ongoing support. Utilise the Women’s electronic medical record (EMR) system as required. Schedule and manage future ERAS Clinic appointments. About You To be successful in this role you will have: AHPRA Registration as a Division 1 Nurse. A minimum of 2 years of acute nursing experience, with a strong interest in Gynaecology.
