Australian Naval Infrastructure Pty Ltd (ANI) was established by the Government of Australia to develop state-of-the-art infrastructure at the Osborne Naval Shipyard for the domestic manufacture of world-class naval vessels. ANI is responsible for the design and build of the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard - one of the largest and most complex infrastructure projects undertaken in Australia’s history, to support the build of nuclear-powered submarines under the AUKUS program. Based predominantly at Osborne, the Executive General Manager Operations is a newly created role at ANI and is part of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Managing Director & CEO. The ultimate focus of the role is to lead ANI’s Shipyard safety, operations, facilities, security and IT teams to provide safe, efficient and compliant performance in line with the Corporate Plan objectives and targets. Specific responsibilities of this important position include: Leading the safety, operations, facilities (asset), security and IT functions for ANI. Building on ANI’s safety first culture, to embed the underpinning protocols, systems and behaviours across the organisation. Developing, maintaining and enhancing relationships with key stakeholders in the Shipyard precinct. Collaborating with Executive Team peers to contribute to ANI’s performance and delivery of its Corporate objectives.
