Growing Stars Montessori School has a rare and exciting opportunity for a passionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic ECT qualified Early Childcare Educator to join our team at our independent, family-owned childcare centre in Shellharbour, NSW. With our centre at capacity, we are seeking to grow our amazing team of educators. If you are an experienced ECT in the early childhood setting, are looking for a change to a respected team and have the following qualifications, this may just be the perfect role: Skills and qualifications required: Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualified essential A clear understanding of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) as part of the National Quality Standard (NQS) Montessori qualifications and experience highly desirable Working with Children Check essential Reliability, trustworthiness, and integrity are essential Great relationship and communication skills Your responsibilities: Responsible for the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and leading the educators on the QIP. Care for and guide children through educating and daily activities Ensure compliance with early childhood regulations Manage parent communications at drop off and pick-up Be part of a sense of connectedness between families, staff, and the community Comply with Child Safe Standards and adhere to the Early Years Framework Growing Stars Montessori School is situated in the beautiful South Coast town of Shellharbour NSW. We are a small independent, family-owned 30 place pre-school that focuses on early childhood education. Our vision is to provide children with a head-start in life, fostering a love for learning by providing positive learning experiences that educate. We provide quality education and care for children aged 2 to 6 years. We are focused on a holistic educational program that is structured around the Montessori pillars including practical life, sensory experiences, mathematics, culture, and language, which aligns with and is governed by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
