Early Childhood Teacher – Watson Early Childhood Education & Care Are you ready for the opportunity of a lifetime? What we’re looking for: Qualifications and Experience: ACECQA-approved qualifications (e.g Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent), or working towards). Essential Certifications: Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) card or willingness to obtain. First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications or willingness to obtain. Full-Time Working Rights. Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, including the Early Years Learning Framework. Ability to inspire and mentor educators to achieve best practices. Excellent relationship-building skills with children, families, and the wider community. Relevant work experience in a similar role. Collaborate and provide inclusion support and care for our diverse workforce and clients. Understanding of programming and development techniques for preschool children. Preferred: Fluent Mandarin language skills. What we offer you: Permanent full-time position – 76 hours/fortnight. Annual salary from $38.58- $53.37 per hour (Educational Services (Teachers) Award) dependent on qualification and experience. Ensure the centre complies with the National Quality Standards and delivers high-quality care and education. Prepare, deliver and lead a developmentally appropriate learning program that contributes to each child’s interest and emotional, social wellbeing. Build and engage in professional and respectful communication with families, children and educators. Maintain records for the purpose of program planning and developmental assessments of the children’s learning. Be confident and articulate in early childhood pedagogy and practice.
