Mundubbera State College is looking for an Early Years Support Coordinator to join our team on a temporary part-time basis, at 0.30 FTE and 22 hours per fortnight, until 12 December 2025 unless otherwise determined.In this role, you will work with the college and the community to foster stronger partnerships.About The Department Of Education The Department of Education is dedicated to building an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the community and schools we support by treating everyone with respect and dignity. It is the centre of a strong citrus growing area, further supported by dairying, pig raising, grazing, grain growing, stone fruits, table grapes, and cash crops. The town has a locally owned and operated juice factory, a saw mill, transport depot, and feed mill, which generate employment. The town has good banking, shopping, accommodation, recreational and entertainment facilities and a tourist attraction.About The Role As the Early Years Support Coordinator, your responsibilities include: Plan and undertake a community engagement strategy (outreach) to connect families with the KindyLinQ program. Work in partnership with the KindyLinQ Teacher to refine and/or target aspects of the program in ways that respond to priority populations of the local community, enhance the capabilities of children and families, support their needs and interests, and strengthen the confidence of parents/caregivers in understanding how to support and enrich their child's learning and development. Support families to draw on the strategies and experiences shared at KindyLinQ and continue to use these in the home environment. Work with the school to strengthen partnerships with local early childhood services and community agencies to support pathways to Kindergarten and wrap-around support for enhanced child and family wellbeing.
