Job Description

Connect APAC have been exclusively engaged by a leading Consumer Goods organisation to source an Ecommerce Manager for their Northern Beaches based team. Reporting directly into the General Manager, this role is tasked with driving profitable sales growth within the National Account portfolio, with a particular focus on Amazon, as well as other eComm customers. The role has one direct report (Ecom Assistant), and is ideal for an existing Ecommerce Manager who is looking for a new opportunity or even an individual who is working for an Ecom Retailer who is interested to move to a supplier. Key Responsibilities: Strategic and tactical management of a designated portfolio of eComm National Accounts, most notably Amazon. Develop sales plans and strategies for the eComm National Account portfolio, identifying and forecasting for known and potential sales by product on a monthly basis, up to 6 months in advance. Prepare and plan sales and promotional activities by brand by Account. Grow the business by working with internal and external customers to negotiate, plan and execute promotional opportunities and to highlight new opportunities. Regularly review Account plan performance and effectiveness. Identify new business opportunities whilst maintaining growth in existing Account portfolio. Manage and develop 1 direct report (eComm assistant). Dotted line reports to sales representatives handling the day-to-day running of certain eComm customers. Responsible for setting account strategies as part of setting the overall company eComm channel strategy. Work as part of a Team (including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Planning and Finance Teams) within a Head Office environment, to deliver overall Company as well as Team objectives. Pricing and profitability – create and maintain account profitability analysis. Key Requirements: Ecommerce background at NAM level above, with strong Amazon account management experience. Ability to collaborate well cross functionally with different departments such as Marketing, Finance, Operations. Ability to achieve monthly & full year sales, profit and inventory targets. Strong forecasting ability by brand and account. Ability to prepare, present and execute eComm Account channel strategy business plans aligned to Account, Principal and Company timelines. Strong product forecasting ability- in conjunction with inventory Team. Budget Management skills– ability to manage and administer the National Account Value Added expenditure budget.
