This role requires someone who can execute ideas, solve problems, and optimise directly, rather than just delegating tasks. The Role This is not your typical eCommerce Manager role. We’re looking for a hands-on, self-starter who will not only drive sales growth and operational efficiency but also directly implement solutions, optimising shopping platform strategies firsthand. You will be the glue that holds all departments together, ensuring that logistics, operations, marketing, and customer experience are fully aligned and performing at their best. As the eCommerce Manager, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end eCommerce strategy, logistics optimisation, and customer experience to ensure that our online store delivers best-in-class service, seamless operations, and rapid revenue growth. What You’ll Be Doing Own and drive eCommerce growth: Develop and execute strategies to scale online revenue, increase conversion rates, and optimise customer acquisition and retention. This is a hands-on role, meaning you will actively test and refine processes yourself, ensuring the best possible customer experience and sales performance. Be the heartbeat of the business: Oversee and connect logistics, operations, and work closely with the marketing team to ensure a seamless workflow. Accountability & Continuous Improvement: Hold the logistics and operations teams accountable for streamlined, efficient processes that enhance productivity and profitability. Optimise the Customer Journey: Ensure a premium customer experience from site navigation to delivery, focusing on high-end service. Data-Driven Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing manager to analyse performance metrics (Google Analytics, Shopify, Email Marketing, Meta Ads, SEO, PPC, etc.) to drive strategic decisions and continuous optimisation. Market Expansion: Identify new opportunities for product expansion, partnerships, and market trends to position the brand at the forefront of the luxury homewares industry. Product & Industry Knowledge: Leverage your deep understanding of furniture, interior design, and home staging industries to drive brand credibility and relevance. Automation & Efficiencies: Identify bottlenecks, implement automation tools, and optimize processes to ensure operational excellence. Who We’re Looking For You are an experienced, ambitious, and entrepreneurial eCommerce leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You are proactive, hands-on, and solutions-focused—able to identify problems, implement solutions, and execute changes directly rather than relying on others to action them. You love owning projects, making data-driven decisions, and scaling businesses. Must-Have Skills & Experience Proven experience (5+ years) in eCommerce leadership, preferably in luxury furniture, homewares, or lifestyle brands. Entrepreneurial mindset – you treat the business as if it were your own, always seeking opportunities for growth. Exceptional operational & logistics understanding – ability to hold supply chain, warehouse, and fulfilment teams accountable for efficiency and performance. Strong analytical skills – experience in data-driven decision-making, A/B testing, and digital performance tracking. Process-driven & highly organised – you thrive on implementing systems and optimizing efficiencies. Ability to lead cross-functional teams – experience working across departments, ensuring smooth communication and execution. Technical and digital marketing expertise is highly regarded – knowledge of Shopify, SEO, PPC, email marketing, digital advertising (Meta, Google Ads). Furniture & interior design industry knowledge – a strong understanding of home styling, trends, and the luxury retail market.
