About the Role: An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Electrical Engineer at our plasterboard manufacturing facility in Pinkenba, QLD. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting and maintaining the daily manufacturing processes at the facility, while gaining invaluable hands-on experience in a thriving production environment.Role Responsibilities: Embrace a safety-first culture and ensure our values are upheld within the maintenance team, contractors, and across the site Provide support in electrical and automation engineering systems troubleshooting and timely breakdown rectification using RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and continuous improvement methodologies Assist in the management and implementation of electrical projects on-site Help develop and monitor the site's electrical preventative maintenance program Maintain the electrical critical spare parts register Manage electrical risks by ensuring all systems adhere to relevant regulations and standards Be involved in the setup and management of PLC and Data Systems Candidate Requirements: Degree in Electrical / Control and Instrumentation Engineering (desired) or qualified electrician with relevant experience Understanding and experience in an industrial manufacturing environment Knowledge of Automation systems (Allen Bradley PLC, Rockwell, SCADA) is beneficial Analytical skills and strategic problem-solving abilities (root cause analysis, process improvements, and corrective actions) Ability to collaborate effectively within a team Passion for process improvement and asset management techniques, systems, and processes relative to automation Capable of motivating and inspiring colleagues at all levels to build a high-achieving team RPEQ Registration highly regarded On Offer: Highly competitive remuneration package Yearly pay reviews 14-week Parental Leave Opportunities for growth and career advancement Modern office technology and a supportive team environment Please note, applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
