Located in Perth, we are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic and professional team. The focus of the role will be to undertake the engineering and design of power substation systems within the Future Energy Group. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Design and/or Delivery of substation engineering and design projects Managing the quality of deliverables produced by others Managing large scale grid connection processes with local utilities Direct and coordinate works to meet schedule, budget and quality requirements Managing and building client relationships What you will bring to the team: Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) qualifications Extensive experience in engineering and design of electrical networks and substations at 66 kV and above, including both overhead and underground networks, and customer connections Proficient knowledge of substation high voltage plant and equipment Knowledge of AIS/GIS Substation busbar configuration and layouts Demonstrated experience in writing scopes of work and specifications Competent knowledge of relevant Australian and International standards, industry guidelines and current industry practices Skilled knowledge in the connection of generators to the grid Experience and knowledge in substation primary electrical design, secondary design, earthing system design and substation ancillary systems would be an advantage A self-starter, proactive attitude with a strong desire for quality delivery Strong alignment with GHD values.
