We are seeking an experienced EEM for a critical leadership role at our Meandu site on a 9 day fortnight roster. About the Role: The EEM will be responsible for overseeing electrical maintenance activities across the mining operation. There will be a strong focus on dragline and CHPP maintenance as well as statutory compliance across site. Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee all electrical maintenance activities across the site Lead and oversee dragline electrical maintenance and shutdowns Lead and oversee CHPP electrical maintenance and shutdowns Develop, plan and implement electrical preventative maintenance programs Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, industry standards and statutory requirements About You: Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering or a related trade qualification Queensland EEM qualification Extensive electrical maintenance experience, ideally in mining or heavy industry Experience in dragline maintenance Proven leadership skills Working at BUMA: BUMA Australia is a people focused business, with a strong focus on safety, training, development and continuous improvement. Meandu Mine: BUMA Australia provides a total mine service to Stanwell Corporation’s Meandu Mine to deliver coal to the adjacent Tarong power station. We are responsible for both managing and operating the mine. Services provided include planning, drilling, overburden removal, coal mining, coal processing, rehabilitation, and maintenance of mobile and fixed plant. The project uses a combination of dragline and truck-and shovel operations. Meandu Mine currently has five working pits, with sufficient coal to fuel the stations until at least 2037.
