About the Role We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Planner to join our Sojitz Gregory Maintenance team. As the Electrical Planner you are required to maintain and monitor a schedule of planned works for mobile and fixed plant for Sojitz assets and personnel that will ensure optimum usage and minimise down time over plant life. General Role responsibilities will include: Ensure scheduling and planning methods used are cost effective and take into account safe working procedures and all statutory requirements with the understanding of, and compliance with Division 2 Section 39 “Obligations of Persons Generally” under the Queensland Coal Mining Safety and Health Act. Facilitate weekly reviews and rough-cut meetings for not only immediate area of responsibility, but also for peers. Monitor productivity of Electrical Maintenance personnel to plan, identifying non-conformance to KPI’s and applying corrective actions where required. Monitor equipment availability and provide feedback on equipment performance. Liaise with production personnel on electrical maintenance, damage and breakdown issues if required. Prepare work scopes for planned electrical maintenance work including costs, duration and resource requirements. Populate and maintain the master data in the Sojitz CMMS system. The successful candidates will have the following: Cert IV in Frontline Management or Trade qualification in related field. 5+ year’s experience in a Mining environment, 1+ years working in a planning position. Exposure to a computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS). Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other respective computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS).
