Centennial is looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our corporate Engineering team and support the electrical engineering operations on our mine sites. This position is based at Centennial’s Fassifern corporate office in Lake Macquarie, with periodic travel to operational sites in Lithgow and the surrounding areas. Responsibilities Supporting the Electrical Engineering Function of the business Filling in as Electrical Engineering Manager as required across Centennial Sites Assisting in the development of future Electrical Engineering Managers Managing the Electrical Engineering aspects of equipment overhauls for all sites Supporting the management of Centennial assets in the Electrical Engineering function Centennial is offering Permanent full-time position Attractive salary package Career development and training opportunities Salary sacrifice options Corporate Health Insurance discounts Minimum Requirements Tertiary level qualifications in Electrical Engineering NSW Electrical Engineering Manager Certificate of Competency / Mutual Recognition (or higher) NSW Electrical Engineering Manager Practising Certificate Compliance to the Learning and Completion Hours of the Maintenance of Competence for Practising Certificates A minimum of 3 years previous experience working in a leadership role in an underground coal mining environment Sound computer literacy skills A commitment to safety and operational targets Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Positive attitude towards team leadership and mentoring About Centennial Centennial Coal Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Asia's largest independent Energy Group, Banpu Public Company Limited.
