About the role This is a permanent opportunity located at Stanwell Power Station, 20 mins drive from Rockhampton. This role provides technical support and input to the operation and maintenance of Stanwell Power Plant including the management of plant assets and undertaking continuous improvements. The Instrumentation and Control Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing various types of electrical and electronic instrumentation equipment used in Stanwell Power Station. Key activities include: Investigating and identifying faults in response to plant alarms/breakdowns. Initiate and implement improvements to plant performance, maintenance work, coaching, and mentoring to others. Developing a plan to correct plant faults and sourcing all required resources to correct faults. Performing work allocated within the weekly schedule.
