Company: Civmec The Company We have an exciting opportunity for qualified Electricians to join our dynamic team on the Rio Tinto Western Range Project in the Pilbara, Western Australia. This iron ore project is currently working on a Greenfields scope, featuring the construction of a new run-of-mine (ROM) pad, primary crushing facility, overland conveying circuit, HV switching, and associated plant. Starting in January 2025, this role offers a 3:1 FIFO dayshift roster from all capital cities in Australia (excluding Cairns), including provided accommodation and flights. Be a part of Civmec’s largest Civil/SMP Construction Project with opportunities for full-time progression within our construction team. The Role Tasks include: Interpret drawings and specifications, and ensure installation adheres to these. Carry out planning tasks as requested. Carry out cable ladder/conduit installation. Carry out cable terminations. Installation of devices and instruments. Installation of small light and power. Earthing, above and underground. About You To thrive in this role, you will need: A Nationally Recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card. The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen. A Western Australian Electrical License. A valid Working at Heights certification (desirable). A current High Risk Work License with EWP (WP). Valid First Aid, LVR & CPR certifications (desirable). Demonstrated skills in First Attack Firefighting Equipment (desirable). A willingness to complete RIO Inductions and Face-to-Face Aveling training.
