About the Role: The Research Nurse role will support the operation of the PANDA (Personalised add-on Acupuncture service at Northern Emergency Department for Acute Pain) project at Northern Hospital Epping under the direction of the PANDA site investigator. The Research Nurse will collect and audit data surrounding pain management within current Emergency Department management protocols as baseline data for later comparison to acupuncture as a pain relief modality. The Research Nurse is also responsible for promoting, collecting, and analysing survey results of both patient and clinician surveys that will be distributed within the timeframe of this employment. It is expected that there will be a write-up or publication of the results by the end of the four months. The nurse will comply with the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Research Involving Humans. To be successful in this role you will have: Current employment within Northern Health in the Emergency Department Bachelor of Nursing, Health Science.
