Sitting within the Emerging Technology Enterprise Team, as a Manager you will be instrumental in partnering with enterprise stakeholders to deliver a range of initiatives from proof of concepts to the adoption of new tooling on an enterprise scale. With a focus on AI, Security, Engineering Tooling, and more, you will be solving complex puzzles and leading projects that transform the enterprise to enable us to deliver value to our customers securely and at pace aligning with our strategic goals to achieve NPS +30. The team delivers on its mission by executing a portfolio of innovation initiatives, which are focused on the discovery, design, and delivery of new tools and products for the Bank and our customers. To deliver their work the team engages and collaborates with a wide range of technology partners, consulting houses, and internal Business Units to design, experiment, and implement cutting-edge solutions that revolutionise the way we work and serve our customers. This role sits within Enterprise Innovation (Emerging Technology) and reports to the Innovation Lead. Your key responsibilities Drive Enterprise Innovation: Collaborate with the Innovation Lead and enterprise partners to identify opportunities, manage innovation portfolios, and ensure successful end-to-end delivery of initiatives. Lead Initiative Delivery: Oversee the entire lifecycle of projects, from ideation and procurement to cross-functional team management, strategy execution, and product delivery. Enhance Enterprise Collaboration: Act as a central point of contact between Engineering, Design, Product teams, and Business stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment. Initiative Development: Support with the development of hypotheses and experiments the team must deliver to validate a project's desirability, technical feasibility or business viability. Strong Stakeholder Management and Communication: Structure effective communications which take complex concepts or initiatives and articulate them in a way that is simple and easy to understand by all stakeholders. Risk Management: Identify, articulate and manage risks and conflicts across various streams of work. Develop the Practice: Develop the Emerging Technology Enterprise Practice and ways of working, to continually advance our craft and evolve the tools and techniques we use in our work, and role model the Emerging Technology Team Principles and Values. We are interested to hear from people who have: 2-5 years in innovation management or a related field, with a strong track record in enterprise project delivery. A hustler, can-do attitude – a strategic and creative mindset, that thrives under pressure, operates well with ambiguity, and has the resilience to solve puzzles no one at the Bank has solved before. An experimentation mindset, with a keen interest in new technology trends and their potential impact on the future of the Bank and how it serves the enterprise and customers. A balanced understanding of technical, business, and organisational aspects. Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. Strong Agile delivery track record, across products and/or enterprise transformational programs of work. Ability to multitask and be flexible with changing priorities or deadlines. An ability to learn quickly and adopt a strong growth mindset to continually develop and learn new skills. Previous experience working in Financial Services preferred but not essential.
