An exciting role exists for an Employee Relations (ER) professional with a strong background in managing industrial relations within healthcare, allied health, or disability sectors. You excel at guiding organisations through workplace relations projects and issues and finding good outcomes for multiple stakeholders. As a trusted advisor, you empower leadership teams to effectively address employee relations challenges while ensuring adherence to relevant laws, awards, and enterprise agreements. Your expertise and collaborative approach make you a trusted advisor and positive role model. Key Responsibilities Include: Lead IR/ER projects associated with mergers, acquisitions and growth, Develop and implement IR/ER strategies that achieve organisational and legal requirements. Guide the design of enterprise agreements and lead negotiations, Provide expert advice on industrial relations matters, including award & agreement interpretation, enterprise agreement making, and workplace disputes. Support HR in managing complex employee relations matters, including grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions. Support compliance with laws, awards, and regulations within the hospital, allied health, and disability sectors. Support organisational learning by delivering training and guidance to managers and staff on IR/ER related topics. About You.. You enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, listening, learning and assisting those around you to grow their capability. You role model positive behaviours; building good working relationships and supporting others while remaining focussed on performance and outcomes. You have an eye for detail, may have been called a perfectionist (but can keep that gift in check) and you enjoy problem solving and finding win-win solutions. Importantly, you have a wealth of transferable skills and have reached a career point where you want to leverage this knowledge to strengthen an organisation that makes a difference to the lives of people with disability, illness and injury. Essential Criteria: Tertiary qualifications in law, industrial relations, human resources , or a related field. Demonstrated experience in industrial relations within the Australian healthcare, hospital, or disability services sectors. Strong knowledge of Australian workplace laws, including the Fair Work Act and relevant awards. Proven experience in enterprise bargaining and workplace dispute resolution. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to interpret and apply complex legislation and industrial instruments. Demonstrated project leadership and implementation.
