Role Responsibilities Upon joining the supportive Employment Pathways team, your role would be to provide customised employment assistance to participants. Typical duties may include, but are not limited to: Using the genU customised employment model of service delivery, support people with a disability to work towards their employment-related goals. With guidance, alongside participants and other key supports, develop, update, and review individualised discovery and employment plans for each participant to work towards their goals in line with their needs. Support participants with a range of capacity-building supports and activities to work towards their goals. These supports and activities can be in small groups or individually, and within a variety of genU, community, and workplace settings. With guidance and support, complete comprehensive pre-assessments for participant placements or employment that assess the needs of both participants and employers. Ensure all participant file notes and rosters are completed as required, including staff minimum billing hours. About You Our ideal employee is an effective communicator who is committed to the inclusion of people with disabilities within the community. You will be able to demonstrate a strong administrative ability and have sound organisation skills. Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain; Cert IV in disability, community services, employment services, or a related field; Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate of completion or willingness to obtain; Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain; Current First Aid Certificate; Ability to transport participants in own vehicle (current license, car, and comprehensive insurance required); Sound understanding and experience in delivering person-centred supports; Previous experience working in disability or a similar field; Experience working in the NDIS environment.
