Job Description
Due to a shuffle, ACFS is seeking an experienced Empty Container Depot Manager to lead our team. This position reports directly to our SA State Manager. What your day can look like: Ensure the day-to-day duties of the Depot are coordinated and completed in a timely manner. Management of shipping Lines across South Australia. Stock management, inventory control, and stocktakes. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Ad Hoc day-to-day Management. What you can bring to us: Sound technical knowledge and experience in Empty Park Depot operations including Container Maintenance & Repair Services. Knowledge and experience with Shipping Lines, equipment handling & Logistics. Experience in leading and supervising an operational team. Computer competency including MS Office applications (Excel/Word), exposure to depot control systems such as 1-Stop and Container Chain. Knowledge of WH&S requirements and obligations. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a wide variety of people. Ability to manage and prioritise a challenging workload. Experience in Empty Container Parks is absolutely essential. This role is subject to a National Criminal History check and Medical.
