Rest Your Paws is looking for compassionate veterinarians to join Australia’s leading at home euthanasia and palliative care service. Rest Your Paws is a veterinarian owned family business with a mission to improve the standard of palliative care across Australia. We’re a passionate team of veterinarians, nurses, grief counsellors and support staff providing in-home palliation and euthanasia services. Our team is currently based throughout NSW, Victoria, QLD, WA & SA, with a vision to have veterinarians supporting families across the country. The Role: Optional: Conducting more extensive palliative care visits and rechecks The Perks: Make substantial supplemental income on your own flexible schedule Opportunities to get involved as an independent contractor or on a full-time, part-time basis.  All equipment, medical supplies and insurance can be provided by Rest Your Paws Extensive training with our founder Dr Courtney Prue and lead veterinarians. Everything from end-of-life communication, discussing quality of life, the best pre-euthanasia sedation protocols, handling difficult euthanasia’s, emotional intelligence and grief support to helping children through pet loss. Continuing professional development and mentorship All of our vets are certified in best practice euthanasia (Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Academy) Online platforms for completing medical records and recording S8 medications Opportunity to get involved in business development, social media, training & content creation Culture: You will be an integral part of our supportive, fun, compassionate team that values and strives to maintain a great company culture. Quarterly team events, such as dinners and drinks, CE nights and overnight trips Supported every day by experienced team members and a dedicated Client Care team that takes care of all logistics, administration and financial conversations Requirements: You must have a valid driver’s licence and vehicle. You must have 2 years experience in the veterinary industry We are looking for veterinarians who would like to either compliment their current GP role or join on a consistent basis Please note, our veterinarians are not affiliated with any other end-of-life care or mobile euthanasia service within Australia .
