Can you read plans in Revit? This role is responsible for generating information for the energy efficiency certificates. Great career opportunity! We are looking for a drafter or someone who has a good understanding of how to read plans to work for this busy residential builder, to fill the role of Energy Efficiency Coordinator. As you will know, the legislation changed last year, and all new homes must have an energy efficiency certificate. This role takes the information from the site plans and drawings and enters the information into a system to send to the certifiers. This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked for a residential building company, most likely has a drafter, and is looking for more experience within a large national builder. This is a career move that could suit someone who wants to advance in the Residential Construction Industry. In addition to this role, you will be helping other departments out where required, for example, booking in maintenance and working with estimating and customer service. What you will need for this role: 6-12 Months working for a builder The ability to read plans in Revit Attention to detail Understanding how a residential building company operates, the workflow between departments The ability to work autonomously Have a confident manner, to talk to external parties Proactive attitude Excellent communication skills. As for all our roles, you must have full working rights in Australia. The role is available now.
