Base pay range A$45.00/hr - A$65.00/hr Job Title: Azure PaaS and SaaS Engineer Contract Duration: 12 months, Hybrid Location: Melbourne or Canberra Rate: $45-$65 per hour ($360 - $520 per day) Job Description: We are looking for an Azure PaaS and SaaS Engineer to join the team for a 12-month contract. This role will focus on the design, deployment, and management of Azure cloud solutions, as well as contributing to the automation of development processes. If you're passionate about cloud technologies and eager to gain experience in a dynamic environment, this is a fantastic opportunity for you. Responsibilities: Develop, deploy, and manage Azure PaaS and SaaS solutions, ensuring they meet high standards of security, reliability, and performance. Work with Azure DevOps practices to automate software development processes, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). Implement and manage Azure Arc to extend Azure services to hybrid and multi-cloud environments, ensuring smooth operation. Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, ensuring scalability and resource efficiency. Resolve technical issues and optimize performance for minimal downtime. Work closely with cross-functional teams (developers, operations, and business stakeholders) to ensure smooth project delivery. Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and contribute to system improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus on Azure PaaS and SaaS solutions. Skills: Experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, Git, Infrastructure as Code). Hands-on experience with Azure Arc for hybrid and multi-cloud management. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration. Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity management. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team. Adaptable and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
