This apprenticeship offers a balanced combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and hands-on experience with your Host Employer, Narellan Pool located in Stapylton. At Narellan Pools, as an apprentice, you will gain experience in all areas of pool production, including: Preparing the pool moulds for production by sanding, buffing, and waxing them to ensure they are in perfect condition for spraying. Participating in the pool building process, including spraying fiberglass and gel coating to create high-quality laminated pools. Being responsible for ensuring the pools are ready for shipment by sanding, buffing, and repairing any issues. Learning how to refresh moulds for future use through processes like sanding and buffing. This is a hands-on role that will teach you practical skills and techniques in composite engineering and pool manufacturing. Who we're looking for: You’re open to feedback and eager to grow your skills. You take direction well and complete tasks with precision. You’re someone who is comfortable working both onsite and outdoors. You’re able to work safely around chemicals, including those used in pool production. Excels in a team and participates in collaborating towards team goals. Holds a P1 or higher driver's licence (or is actively working towards one) - desirable but not essential. Ability and willingness to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical which will also involve an Audiometry, Functional Capacity and Drug and Alcohol Assessment.
